A man from Millersburg died in a fatal car accident early Sunday morning when a Wayne County woman drove her 2013 Chevrolet Trailblazer left of center on Route 83 in Holmes County, Ohio, crashing into his Toyota Camry. According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, the 25-year-old man died at the scene of the accident.
The 68-year-old woman in the Trailblazer was transported to Akron General Medical Center with critical injuries. Her passenger, a 2-year-old girl, also suffered serious injuries and was flown by helicopter to Akron Children’s Hospital. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident to determine why the woman went left of center and initiated the crash. The patrol notes this is the fifth fatal car crash in Holmes County in 2013.
