In a collision between two pick-up trucks, two were injured and two were killed in Ross County, Ohio. The crash involved a Chevrolet Silverado driving by Johnny Sowards and a Chevrolet Colorado driven by Richard Ford. They were heading in opposite directions on U.S. 23 when one of the vehicles went too far into the other lane and the vehicles struck head-on.
Following the crash, the driver of each vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. Two passengers that were involved in the crash had to be flown to nearby hospitals for care. MedFlight took one of the passengers, Penny Sowers, to Grand Medical Center and the other passenger was taken to The Ohio State University’s Wexner Medical Center by Airevac.
